Advisor Services
In response to a comprehensive Investment Profile,
Counsel Trust is able to identify client investment needs and expectations.
Investment goals and an asset allocation plan emerge from this "needs
assessment." Counsel then recommends professional advisors
to manage each asset class prescribed by the asset allocation plan.
But our involvement and attention do not stop
there. We consistently monitor each manager for risk-adjusted performance
against an appropriate benchmark. These results are reported quarterly
to our clients, so they are always aware and advised of their investment
performance.
Advisors are chosen based on their expertise
in managing specific asset classes. Each manager is tracked for
"style purity" and to assure that management decisions
and actions parallel the advisor's stated philosophy and style.
Many of these premier, top-performing managers
require high investment portfolio minimums, but we are able to make
them available to smaller portfolios through our unique and exclusive
Counsel Trust private pools.
For example, if a $250,000 portfolio asset allocation
plan calls for a 5% investment in small cap growth, just $12,500
could be invested with the small cap growth manager. Obviously,
if the manager's minimum account size is $1 million, this manager
could not be retained. Fortunately, via Counsel's small cap growth
private fund, clients can invest as little as $1,000 and obtain
access otherwise open to $1 million + investors.
Our large asset base and volume trading enable
us to deliver top-flight money management firms to our clients at
reasonable fees. Counsel clients also receive access to premier
investment managers, while retaining local consulting contact and
connections. This dual benefit of global and local attention is
a unique and welcome opportunity.
As your partner in performance, Counsel Trust
keeps your wealth-building goals at the heart of every decision
made, because we believe the investment process is more than just
money -- it's the realization of your achievements and expectations.
